My Dreams 

Ladies and Gentlemen , Good afternoon!

My name is SunYe. I am twelve years old. I am from Nanjing experimental international school. I am very glad to stand here. Today , I will talk about “the dream”.

Every one has his own dream. The man without a dream ,his life will be empty. A life without dreams is just like an aircraft losing navigation and the ships losing lighthouse.

When I was a little kid ，my dream was only to have a candy shop of my own .But now ，when I am 12 years old ，standing here ，my dreams have already changed a lot. Now, I have many dreams. I want to be a soldier with a gun so that I can defend our motherland. I want to be a doctor that I can help the sick and save their lives. I want to be a scientist, that I can help many people and become the backbone of the country. I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up to be modern country that everyone can live happily.

So, Today, I study hard. I hope my dreams will come true.

My hometown

Good morning, dear teachers. My name is zhang yuchen, and come from yudaojie Primary school. Today, I will show you around my hometown ——Nanjing .

Nanjing is a beautiful city which has a long history. There are many places of interest like Confucius Temple, Xuanwu Lake, the Ming Tomb and so on. They are like shining pearls in the long long river of Nanjing’s history.

Nanjing is also a modern city. There are a lot of tall buildings with more than thirty-five floors. Have you ever heard about Zifeng Tower before? It’s the tallest one in the Jiangsu Province and lists No. 7 in the world. On the very top of it, you can overlook the fabulous bird-view of whole city including the graceful Xuanwu lake. I’m sure you will enjoy that.

Nanjing has many different kinds of tasty food. You can find those in Hunan Road, Confucius Temple and Xinjiekou. For example, the Nanjing Salt Duck is the most famous food in China. Everyone thinks it is very delicious.

That’s my hometown---Nanjing, with beautiful scene, tasty food and lovely people. I like it very much.
